Maximum Extension Granted for Client’s Abuse Prevention Order

Brett Lovins won a motion to extend an abuse prevention order on behalf of his client, who had been living in fear of her ex-boyfriend defendant. The restraining order was extended for one year, the maximum time period permitted by law.
